I am a commercial photographer. My main areas of business include Google Streetview Trusted virtual tours, food photography and photobooth services.
I have been practicing photography as a hobby since the mid-1970s, making the switch to professional photography in 2009. My photography education was a combination of self-teaching and institutional instruction, beginning with photography courses at UCLA in the 1980s. I built and used a home darkroom for a while before moving to the Midwest, where I joined the Center for Photography at Madison (now known as PhotoMidwest) so I could still get into a darkroom. I graduated from Lakeland College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, then followed a career in IT for a few years. Dissatisfaction with a lack of creative outlets led to my career change to professional photography. I graduated from Madison College in 2010 with an Associate of Arts degree in Photography, and am a member of Phi Theta Kappa. I have been a full-time professional photographer since then.
For personal photography projects, I collect Kodak cameras and memorabilia, then use those Kodak cameras to photograph subjects around me. My favorite subject for personal projects is the railroad industry and model railroading.
